そんなBasharが、アイスランドの人気インダストリアルパンクバンドHATARIのEinar Stefとともに東アジア初来訪となる今回、最新曲「ITSAHELL!」でも歌われる解放のヴィジョンを体現すべく、いつも以上に多様なラインナップで迎えます！東京拠点のローカルデザイナーやスタイリスト達と作り上げるコスチュームやステージングなども必見！ここでしか体感できないスペシャルな一夜を絶対にお見逃しなく！！
We are excited to announce Palestinian pop artist Bashar Murad’s first performance in Japan, at WAIFU!!! Bashar Murad is a pop artist based in Jerusalem who uses his own experience to craft songs about everything from the microaggressions he faces as a queer Palestinian to the oppression caused by apartheid and patriarchy, the daily fear of death, and the liberation he seeks, with his own unique pop and humorous sense.
This will be Bashar’s first visit to East Asia, and we will welcoming him and his collaborator Einar Stef (of Iceland’s industrial-punk band HATARI) with a more diverse lineup than usual to embody the vision of liberation he sings about in his latest song, “ITSAHELL!“! Don’t miss out on the costumes and styling, which will be created in collaboration with local designers and stylists based in Tokyo! We are looking forward so much to this special night!!
