【DJ HarveyとのMAP OF AFRICA、Eric DuncanとのRUB N TUGでも知られるアングラディスコシーンの伝説Thomas Bullock】
伝説的パーティーWickedのレジデントとして活躍、近年はThe Trilogy TapesからTom of Englandの名義で作品をリリース。鋭角な活躍を続けるアーティスト。
共演にはDISKO KLUBB を主宰しタイのフェスティバルWonderfruitやアジアを中心にしたツアーを定期的に行い、本年はベルリンのPanorama Barで6時間のクロージングセットも披露したMONKEY TIMERSが登場！VENTではPHYSICAL THERAPYを迎え主宰したパーティーALL LIESが成功を収めたYOSHIHAARAAもROOM1でプレイする。
ROOM2では、ハウス、ニューディスコを中心に都内各所でプレイを重ねるSHIMPEI WATANABE、ダンス経験を活かした”踊れる”音楽をテーマに幅広いジャンルの選曲でプレイする永z遼、ディスコやハウスなどを中心にプレイするDJデュオ50Minimals、三軒茶屋 天狗食堂でレギュラーパーティーWould you wanna do？を主宰するStructure Of Smileがプレイする。
Thomas Bullock, a true legend of the underground disco scene, known for Map of Africa with DJ Harvey and Rub n Tug with Eric Duncan, lands at VENT.
A former resident of the iconic Wicked parties, he continues to carve out new ground, most recently releasing as Tom of England on The Trilogy Tapes.
Also in Room 1 are Monkey Timers, founders of Disko Klubb, who tour Asia regularly, from Thailand’s Wonderfruit to clubs across the region, and this year delivered a six-hour closing set at Berlin’s Panorama Bar. Joining them is Yoshihaaraa, who hosted the successful ALL LIES party at VENT with Physical Therapy.
Room 2 brings together Shimpei Watanabe, active across Tokyo with house and new disco sets; Ryo Nagase, drawing on his dance background for selections built around pure movement; the disco/house duo 50Minimals; and Structure Of Smile, who runs the regular “Would you wanna do?” party at Sangenjaya’s Tengu Shokudo.
