【 Berghainのレジデントも務めるサイケ・マエストロ Barker 】
ビートレス・テクノの金字塔的アルバムUtilityのリリース、その後も実験的サウンドでテクノの新境地を開拓し続けるアーティストが再び来日！
今回は、過去にWata IgarashiやMachinaらを招聘し現行メルボルンのテクノシーンを牽引するCat House & Tokyo Love Hotel crew が2024年にスタートしたパーティー Hypnotic DimensionがROOM1を、過去にDJ masdaやRainbow Disco ClubからSisi、奈良で開催されるフェスティバルMomentのDJ Hi-C、道玄坂のベニューMitsukiのYmarchyらを招聘したメルボルンで毎週月曜日に10年以上開催を続けるThe breakfast clubがROOM2を、それぞれコーディネートする。
ROOM1には、FabricやWaking Lifeなど名門クラブでもプレイするJmcee、豪州のアーティストにフォーカスしたパーティーである豪流伝やGOLDENTIMEを主催するGenki Tanakaが登場。
ROOM2では、シカゴ、NY、デトロイト・ハウスを中心にプレイしVENTではRon Trentの来日公演でもプレイしたFU、レーベルNatural Bounceを主宰しフレンチ・ミニマルシーンの気鋭Traumerとも共演を果たしてきたJohan Elgstrom、過去には東京を拠点にハウス/テクノのアンダーグラウンドシーンでも著名なパーティーの1つReal Groovesでもレジデントを務めたBrock Ferrarがプレイする
Psychedelic maestro Barker, a resident of Berghain, will be coming to VENT!
After releasing Utility, his groundbreaking album of beatless techno, Barker continues to push boundaries with his experimental approach to the genre.
The lineup includes Jmcee, founder of Melbourne's Breakfast Club Rave, who has performed at renowned venues like Fabric and Waking Life, as well as Genki Tanaka, organizer of Australian artist-focused parties such as Goryuuden and Goldentime.
In Room 2, FU will bring her signature style rooted in Chicago, New York, and Detroit house, she previously shared the stage with Ron Trent during his Japan tour at VENT. Joining him is Johan Elgstrom, head of the Natural Bounce label, who has performed alongside Traumer, a rising star in the French minimal scene. Also on the lineup is Brock Ferrar, a former resident of Real Grooves, one of Tokyo’s most influential underground house and techno parties.
