2016年にUKで結成され、その後アジアや米国のトランスシーンを席巻したレーベル “SKULLDUGGERY”
(スカルダグリー)の主宰であり Tech-TranceのTOP DJであるGREG DOWNEY。
そんな彼は、UKでも人気トランスレーベルの"VII”に正式メンバーとして2022年より参加、勢いの止まらない彼が前回の来日より4年間の時を経て来たる2023年 新年 来日公演が決定！
さらにSpecial Guestには国内アーティストの持つ表現力の中でも一線を画すシリアスかつミドルグルーヴなスタイルに定評があり2010年に"Grasshopper Records"、2022 年に"Shamanic Tales Records"に所属。海外大手レーベルより数多くの楽曲をリリース、サイケ界の次世代を牽引する"SPECTRA SONICS"の出演も決定！
Support DJもDJ 34, O-FUNE, BEPPUといった都内各所の有名CLUBやTrance Partyで活躍する国内DJが脇を固める。 VJは、数々のメジャーパーティーで映像を演出するAKIKO & LIGHTCELLが入り、カメラおよび撮影は、ASTROも参加、そして、SKULLDUGGERY JAPANメインクルーのHIROMASAと RIEも本イベントに尽力する。TRANCE × PSYの融合、日本の新たなTRANCEシーンがここから始まる。

It’s been nearly 4 years since Greg has last played a DJ live set in Tokyo with the last being at Shibuya's
WOMB for OPEN UP TOKYO with Simon Patterson back in 2019. Fast forward to 2023 ....
Kicking things off in the new year on Friday January 27th 2023 is “SKULLDUGGERY PRESENTS - GREG DOWNEY EXTENDED SET” where Greg will be playing an exclusive 3 hour set at Shibuya, Tokyo’s
R-LOUNGE alongside one with Japan’s finest and most talented PsyTrance artist appearing as Special Guest is none other than “SPECTRA SONICS” with strong support from Tokyo’s local trance talents are
DJ 34, O-FUNE, and BEPPU.
This is set to be a very ‘special’ night that’s surely going to give you something that you have “never” heard or witnessed before in Japan. You’ll be getting the best in both TECH & PSY that will be opening up new boundaries and making way to new territories in Tokyo’s underground TRANCE scene. Not to mention this is the start and launch of SKULLDUGGERY JAPAN with bigger events to come. Yes, January 27th is going to be MASSIVE off the scale and yes it’s going to be a proper underground RAVE in Tokyo!!!
