バイレファンキ・シーンのネクストフェイズCAIO PRINCEの初来日が決まった。すさまじい再生回数が叩き出される数々の動画の、衝撃的なパフォーマンスと音楽の高揚をもって、その名を記憶したリスナーは多いのではないだろうか。
サンパウロ南郊のジャルジン・ミリアンで生まれたCAIO PRINCEは、世界を席巻したバイレファンキの派生ジャンル、ブルシャリアを代表するプロデューサー/DJで、2024年にリリースされた「Botano (Útero Baixo)」は4ヶ月足らずで1,200万ストリーミングを突破。その後の夏のヨーロッパツアー8カ国18公演の成功と、NTSやRinse FMといった主要ラジオ局でのパフォーマンスで、ブルシャリアの優位性と未体験の高揚を世界中へと拡散した。
予測不能でありながら音楽欲求に直撃させるアタックとトリッピーなブレイク、忘我をうながす波状攻撃とサンパウロのロマンチシズム。その音場に逃げ場はない。
バイレファンキかけ子は、KARAN!やTTOTEN、VHOORといったブラジルのトップアーティストの招聘など、日本とブラジルおよび世界中のファンキ〜ブラジリアン・ダンスミュージックを繋ぐハブとしての役割を担う一方、日本が世界に誇るファンキ・アーティストで、今回の公演もバイレファンキかけ子のレーベルTóquioBugとR Loungeの共催となる。
国内ラインナップにも容赦はなく、バイレファンキかけ子、pìccolo、moemiki、mionn、宇宙チンチラを中心に構成される概念再構築クルー tomodachi100や、2011年の結成からアップデートを続けるHW BINGOとGUNHEADによるゲットーミュージックのカッティングエッジHABANERO POSSE。さらに、トラップメタルのヒーローrirugiliyangugiliや、ファンキからブルシャリア、レゲトン、台湾音楽から現地バイク音まで辺境音楽の博識の剛腕 坂田律子、ブラジル人バイレファンキプロデューサー兼DJのDJ PS2 DESBLOQUEADOなど、徹底した濃度/スキル/エネルギー主義のパーティメイクが施された。

The next phase of the baile funk scene, CAIO PRINCE, is coming to Japan for the first time. Many listeners may remember the name from the electrifying performances and soaring music of their numerous videos, which have received a tremendous number of views.
CAIO PRINCE, born in Jardim Miriam in the southern suburbs of São Paulo, is a leading producer and DJ in the baile funk-derived genre of Bruxaria, which has taken the world by storm, and his 2024 release ‘Botano (Útero Baixo)’ has reached 12 million in less than four months, with streaming. The success of the subsequent summer tour of Europe with 18 shows in 8 countries and performances on major radio stations such as NTS and Rinse FM spread the dominance and unexperienced exuberance of bruxaria to the rest of the world.
The attack and trippy breaks, the unpredictable yet direct assault on musical desire, the oblivion-inducing surges and the romanticism of São Paulo. There is no escape in that soundscape.
バイレファンキかけ子 [Baile Funk Kakeko] plays a role as a hub connecting Japan, Brazil and the world of funki-Brazilian dance music by inviting top Brazilian artists such as KARAN!, TTOTEN and VHOOR, and is also a world-class funk artist from Japan. The performance will also be co-hosted by バイレファンキかけ子's label TóquioBug and R Lounge.
The domestic line-up is also relentless, with the likes of tomodachi100, a concept reconstruction crew made up of バイレファンキかけ子, pìccolo, moemiki, mionn and 宇宙チンチラ, as well as ghetto music cutting edge HABANERO POSSE, with HW BINGO and GUNHEAD continuing to update their sound since its formation in 2011. In addition, there are trap metal heroes rirugiliyangugili, Ritsuko Sakata, a hard-working and knowledgeable expert on frontier music from funki to bruxalia, reggaeton, Taiwanese music to local motorbike sounds, and Brazilian baile funk producer and DJ DJ PS2 DESBLOQUEADO, and others, the party was made up of a thorough concentration/skill/energism.
