YAMATO The Drummers of Japan World Tour Program 2025-2026「人の力」Hito no Chikara - The Power of Human strength Based in Asuka-mura, Nara Prefecture, YAMATO has captivated audiences worldwide since 1993, performing over 4,700 shows across 55 countries. Known as “the Taiko drumming group that travels the world,” they bring energy and joy through their powerful yet delicate “physical music.” On stage, they perform with over 40 Taiko drums, including the massive 500 kg “Odaiko,” crafted from a 400-year-old tree. Their performances blend intensity, emotion, and humor, drawing audiences into a shared, unforgettable experience. True to their motto—“We go everywhere when somebody needs YAMATO!”—they continue to spread the spirit of Taiko across the globe.
