主宰するレーベル Stroboscopic Artefacts からの幅広いリリースで世界的に評価されRROSEとのユニット Lotus Eatersとしても著名なLucyは、2011年の初来日以降もStar Festival や DJ Nobu 主宰 Future Terrorなどへ定期的に来日、VENTへも3度目の登場となる国内でも人気を集めるアーティストだ。
共演は、タイのWonderfruit Festivalやベルリンの世界最大のクィア・フェスティバル Whole Festivalなど活躍の幅をさらに広げ国内でもクィア・レイブ SLICKを主宰する7e、ベルリンのアンダーグラウンドシーンの体験を機にキャリアをスタートしミニマルテクノ／ディープテクノを中心にプレイするHackmarkt、Chris LiebingやTOMMY FOUR SEVEN、Monolocなど第一線で活躍するアーティストを招聘してきた本パーティー TECHVANEを主宰する DJ SAIMURAがVJ comboy とShinya Miyachiと共にMINIMA LIEBENZとしてLIVE / DJ / VJ のハイブリッドセットで出演する。
ROOM2には、2013年からRe:birth Festival を主宰し長い経験から見出した実験的な感性で音とアートによる空間のインスピレーションを探求するKojiro、テクノ中心にトライバル・テック・プログレ・エレクトロを織り交ぜエモーショナルかつダイナミックなプレイスタイルでクラウドを魅了するHouseCat、テクノとハウスを軸に縦横無尽に行き来するユニークかつグルーヴィなDJに定評があるJUNKO ONAGI 、野外フェスティバルやレイヴを拠点に MATRICARIAやLAB.の レジデントとしての活動するNaoki Fujii、ダンサーとしてRe:birth／Mycelium Festival等数々の現場で活躍してきた中で芽生えたダンスミュージックへの愛をDJとしても表現するSK11 が出演する。
Lucy, the mastermind behind Stroboscopic Artefacts, one of Berlin's most profound and dynamic techno labels featuring artists such as Donato Dozzy and Kangding Ray, is making a return!
This charismatic artist, sought after by venues worldwide, including iconic places like Berghain and Dekmantel, is making their first appearance in five years!
Lucy, renowned for the collaborative unit Lotus Eaters with RROSE, has been a regular guest in Japan since their inaugural visit in 2011, making appearances at events like Star Festival and DJ Nobu's Future Terror. This marks their third performance at VENT, solidifying their popularity among Japanese audiences.
In addition to Lucy, the lineup features 7e, who has played at renowned festivals like Wonderfruit in Thailand and the world's largest queer festival, Whole Festival, in Berlin. In Japan, 7e is also known for organizing the queer rave SLICK. Joining the roster is Hackmarkt, who kickstarted his career in Berlin's underground scene and specializes in minimal techno/deep techno. DJ Saimura, the organizer of the TECHVANE party that has hosted luminaries like Chris Liebing, Tommy Four Seven, and Monoloc, will collaborate with VJ comboy and Shinya Miyachi to present MINIMA LIEBENZ in an innovative hybrid live/DJ/VJ set.
In Room 2, Kojiro, the organizer of the Re:birth Festival since 2013, delves into the exploration of space through sound and art, drawing from an experimental sensibility honed over many years. HouseCat, renowned for blending tribal tech, progressive electro, and techno, delivers an emotionally charged and dynamic performance that captivates audiences. Junko Onagi, known for her distinctive and profound DJ style, seamlessly oscillates between techno and house genres. Naoki Fujii, a fixture at outdoor festivals and raves such as Matricaria and LAB., brings his residency to the mix. Adding a unique touch, SK11, a dancer and DJ, expresses their deep love for dance music cultivated through experiences at Re:birth, Mycelium Festival, and beyond.
