サンドラ・ンカケ（トリオ [ELLES]）
1973年カメルーンのヤウンデに生まれ、12歳でフランスに移住。 その表現力豊かな歌声でフレンチ・ソウルシーンを代表する存在となる。幼い頃から音楽に親しみ、特に10代で出会ったプリンスの大ファンになる。2008年にデビュー・アルバム「Mansaadi」をリリースし、世界各地で200回以上の公演を行った。ニューアルバム「Scars」は、パワフルでオーガニックで、ソウルソングの宝石のような作品。ロック的なエネルギーとフォーク・バラードが織りなす世界観は、聴く者の魂を揺さぶる。彼女のプロジェクト「Elles」は、彼女に自分らしさを与えてくれた女性たちによって作られた曲を共有することを目的としている。
Sandra Nkaké (Trio [ELLES])
Born in Yaoundé, Cameroon in 1973, Nkaké moved to France at the age of 12. Her expressive voice made her a staple on the French soul scene. She was passionate about music from an early age, particularly Prince whom she discovered as a teenager. In 2008, Nkaké released her debut album “Mansaadi”, supporting the record with over 200 concerts around the world.
Her new album "Scars" is a jewel of powerful and organic soul songs. It immerses the listener into a world full of rock energy and folk ballads that stir the soul from the very first notes. Her project [Elles] aims to share songs written and composed by women who have given her the strength to be herself.
KYOTO JAZZ SEXTET ft. 森山威男
メンバーは、沖野修也(se/mc)、平戸祐介(p)、小泉P克人(b)、類家心平(tp)、栗原健(sax)、で構成されている。 DJで選曲家として活躍する Kyoto Jazz Massiveの沖野修也が、現代ジャズを表現するために完全生演奏とアナログ録音でスタートさせたプロジェクト。2015年、名門ブルー・ノートよりカバー・アルバム「MISSION」でデビュー。2015年にはKYOTOGRAPHIEのオープニングパーティーでライブを行い、ブルーノートの伝説を写真に収めたフランシス・ウルフ展とコラボレーションした。 1969年、山下洋輔のトリオに初代ドラマーとして参加した森山威男。1977年、自己のバンドで4beatジャズに回帰し、日本のみならずドイツ、イタリアでも公演を行う。2001年から毎年、岐阜県可児市文化創造センターで「森山威男ジャズナイト」を開催している。
Kyoto Jazz Sextet ft. Takeo Moriyama
Members: Shuya Okino, Yusuke Hirato, Katsuto, Koizumi P, Shinpei Ruike, Ken Kurihara Shuya Okino of Kyoto Jazz Massive, a DJ and composer, started this project with complete live performance and analog recording to express contemporary jazz. He made his debut in 2015 with the cover album “MISSION” on the Blue Note label. In 2015, he performed live at the opening party of KYOTOGRAPHIE, and collaborated with Francis Wolff, who captured Blue Note legends in his exhibition, using his album as the music for the venue. Takeo Moriyama joined Yosuke Yamashita's trio as the first drummer in 1969. In 1977, he returned to 4beat jazz with his own band, performing not only in Japan but also in Germany and Italy. Since 2001, he has held the annual "Takeo Moriyama Jazz Night" at the Kani City Cultural Creation Center in Gifu Prefecture.

KYOTOPHONIEは、KYOTOGRAPHIE京都国際写真祭の精神に基づき、新たに立ち上げた国際的なボーダレスミュージックフェスティバルです。 ワールドミュージック・現代音楽・クラシック・電子音楽・ストリートミュージック… 様々なジャンルを超え、国境も超えた素晴らしい音楽のライブ演奏を京都の特別な空間で体験する、そんな音楽祭を目指しています。 長いパンデミックの間に日常化してしまったメタバースの世界から外に出て、全身の感覚を震わせるような生の音楽体験をすることで、人間らしさを取り戻す機会を創出します。
ボッテガ・ヴェネタ(BOTTEGA VENETA) は、 2023年に開催する第一回 KYOTOPHONIEの春会期及び秋会期のメインスポンサーとして参画します。
KYOTOPHONIE is a Borderless Music Festival that offers a wide diversity of genres, from world music, jazz, electro to classic and many more. It crosses styles, programs and modes of presentation through interpretations and collaborations. The Spring sessions bring people together to experience music not commonly available ‘live’ in Japan. In most cases, the musicians will perform in formats crafted especially for the Kyoto audience and venues - some developing premier pieces to be shown first in KYOTOPHONIE and only accessed in Kyoto. Locations include temples dating back to the Muromachi period, modern spaces, immaculate gardens, iconic Kyoto Clubs, and more to be announced.
